Thanksgiving Walleyes

The bite on the Wolf river continues to be very strong with good numbers of fish between 13 -18 inches.  From Chico's down to the mouth the better spots have been the Mouth and below Boom Island drifting and jigging orange and lime jigs are still the colors.  We have been using stinger hooks for the short bites.  The water temp is 35 degrees with good current flow. Minnows and Gulp minnows is the bait of choice.  Try to get out on the river this fall yet and you will not be disappointed.
