Match the hatch for proper lure or fly color with the information provided in this field guide.
Sample of field use: Take water temperatures at 5 pm, 5 feet Deep, and record the data. Add sixty days to these temperatures, record the date. The species that hatched during the water temperatures will now be close to 1.5 to 2 inches in length. Walleyes may now be feeding on those baitfish. You should match your lures, crankbaits etc. to these colors to perhaps increase your catch rate. You can enter the data from this field guide on to a spreadsheet and sort the information for your personal use. Take all the game fish, sort the species by water temperatures, and immediately know what species is more vulnerable for catching. Apply a little of your knowledge with data in this book, you'll improve your success rate.
